Description
Your Complete Grades 1-8 Homeschool Grammar Curriculum Bundle is Ready.
Teaching grammar shouldn’t mean worksheets your child forgets by the next week. If you’re homeschooling anywhere from first through eighth grade, or teaching multiple kids across different grade levels, this Grades 1-8 Homeschool Grammar Curriculum gives you a full year of grammar instruction for every level in one place, taught right in the context of writing in just 10 minutes a day.
This bundle includes all three grammar curriculums: Grades 1-2, Grades 3-5, and Grades 6-8. Research shows kids learn grammar more effectively when it’s taught in the context of writing, and each curriculum in this Grades 1-8 Homeschool Grammar Curriculum gives your child practice with 30 essential skills through simple instruction and meaningful writing activities. Over time, you’ll notice your child growing more confident using grammar correctly in their own writing.
Every skill follows the same five-step routine, one short step a day. Each step takes about 10 minutes and is designed to fit right at the start of your writing time, so it’s easy to keep grammar consistent from first grade through eighth without adding another subject to your day.

A Predictable 5-Day Routine (10 Minutes a Day!)
Every skill in all three curriculums follows the same simple five-day routine, one short step a day, so your child always knows what comes next:
- Day 1: Notice the Skill. Your child notices the skill in a mentor sentence and talks through how it works, before any formal instruction.
- Day 2: Teach the Skill. Your child learns the terms and rules using an anchor chart you build together.
- Day 3: Practice the Skill. Your child writes imitation sentences that follow the mentor sentence’s structure with their own words.
- Day 4: Apply the Skill. Your child uses the skill in their own authentic writing, with an optional Revising Challenge to take it further.
- Day 5: Assess the Skill. Your child responds to a short writing prompt so you can see how well they apply the skill on their own.
Note: A short video demonstration is included for each step, so you can see exactly how the routine works before you teach it.
