Are you looking at your grammar skill for the upcoming week in your curriculum and wondering… How am I going to help my students master this skill?

Maybe you are looking for a center idea or an at-home activity to help your students practice the grammar skill.

I don’t know about you, but I’m always looking for fun and simple ways to help my students master grammar skills.

So that’s why I’m here to tell you about Boom Cards.

What are Boom Cards?

Boom Cards are engaging, interactive, and self-checking digital task cards. Boom Cards are perfect for an iPad, laptop, or a smartboard, and they are so fun for your kids! Your students will love them and be begging for more!

Why Should I use Boom Cards for Grammar?

Boom Cards are an awesome way to keep your students engaged and having fun while mastering skills at the same time! Therefore, they make the perfect activity for grammar practice or review. Here are some more reasons why they are so great:

1. They require no prep!

Seriously! All you have to do is sign up for an account on boomlearning.com. Then you can easily assign Boom Cards to your students.

2. They are self-checking.

After students complete a Boom Card, students will get immediate feedback about their answer. They will hear a “whoops” sound if the answer is incorrect or a “ding” sound if it is correct. Students will master grammar skills a lot quicker with this instant feedback.

3. They can be completed independently.

Grammar Boom Cards are perfect for centers or at-home practice because they are easy to complete independently. You’ll no longer need to use precious instructional time for practicing grammar skills!

4. They can be assigned through Google Classroom and Seesaw.

You can assign Boom Cards through the Boom Learning platform as well as Google Classroom and Seesaw. Here is a tutorial video on how to use Boom Cards on Seesaw. Here is a tutorial video on how to use Boom Cards in Google Classroom.
