10 reasons to use boom cards in the classroom

Have you been hearing a lot about Boom Cards lately? I remember when I first heard about them in the spring of 2020, and I had to go see for myself what all the hype was about. 

I quickly realized why teachers were so excited to be using Boom Cards in their classrooms. They were a helpful resource to use for distance learning and in the classroom.

What are Boom Cards?

Boom Cards are self-grading digital task cards found on boomlearning.com. Boom Cards are my new favorite way to help students practice a skill!

1. BOOM CARDS ARE ENGAGING

Let’s face it – students get bored with worksheets! Students will be actively engaged while working through their Boom Cards! They will need little prompting from you. Boom Cards have colorful graphics and are interactive as students click, drag, or fill in the blank.

2. BOOM CARDS OFFER REPETITIVE PRACTICE

Students need lots of practice to master skills in the curriculum. Boom Cards offer the practice and repetition students need while keeping them engaged.
